Power & Explosiveness
VALD ForceDecks
Put a real number on explosiveness, power, and how each leg produces force.

We're filming Force Plates in the lab. What it is
VALD ForceDecks dual force plates measure the exact force an athlete drives into the ground, roughly a thousand readings per second, from each leg separately. From a few short jumps and a brief hold we read explosive power, reactive strength, how fast force is produced, and left-to-right balance — the same system used across professional and college sport.
Why it matters
Explosiveness and first-step power decide most sports, and the eye can't measure them. Force plates turn "he looks explosive" into objective numbers, show where an athlete ranks, and reveal side-to-side differences most testing misses. A physician interprets every result against the athlete's age, sport, and position.
What to expect
A few maximal jumps and a short isometric hold on the plates, about two minutes. We capture jump height, relative power, reactive strength index, rate of force development, and limb symmetry, then re-test to track change over time.
See explosiveness, power, and reactivity in real numbers, catch a left-to-right imbalance early so it can be addressed in training, and re-test to prove the work is paying off.
